LEARNING OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

To protect the computer systems and the computer personnel, some safety measures must be and they are as follows:

A Well Good sitting should be maintained (i.e. always sit straight)
Antiglare protection (monitor filter) should be used to protect the eyes.
The monitor should be positioned at eye level to avoid blending.
A computer environment must be clean and free from dust.
The computer environment must be clean and free from dust.
There should be no eating and drinking beside the computer system.
Computer systems and peripherals should be arranged so as to allow free entry and free exit.
The computer room should be air-conditioned.
Unauthorized personnel should not be allowed into the computer room.

STRATEGIES AND ACTIVITIES:

The teacher IN Activity I: The teacher leads by asking the student to define and explain safety measures.

The teacher IN Activity II: explains the meaning of safety measures.

Activity III: The teacher leads by explaining the key vocabulary in the class safety measures.

The teacher IN Activity IV: The teacher will summarize the topic and make the necessary correction to the learners’ discussion.

ASSESSMENT (EVALUATION) & WRAP-UP (CONCLUSION): Learners will provide answers to this question to check their understanding of the topic.
