Week 2
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Explain what an atom is.
- Identify the similarities and differences between protons, electrons, and neutrons.
- State why it is important to understand the structure of an atom.

Chemical Formula
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Compare and contrast the behavior or characteristics of an element in its combined and uncombined states
- Generate the IUPAC Nomenclature of some chemical formula
determine valences of radicals
Week 4
Simple chemical equation
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Express the difference between coefficients and subscripts in a chemical equation.
- Identify the reactants and products in a chemical equation
- State the laws of chemical equations
- Put into practice how to write and balance simple chemical equations.
Week 5
Nervous system
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Define the Nervous System and distinguish between the Central Nervous System (CNS) and the Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)
- Discuss different parts of the brain and their functions.
- Analyze simple reflex action with examples
- Highlights the importance of cerebrospinal fluid
Week 6
Endocrine system
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Define the endocrine system
- Describe several parts of the endocrine system and where they can be found in the body.
- Examine the importance of endocrine glands
WEEK 7.
CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT/MID-TERM BREAK
WEEK 8
Sense organ 1(Eye and Ear)
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Draw the diagram of the eye and ear
- Associate parts of the eye and their functions
- Connect parts of the ear with their functions
- Explain the effect of eye and ear problems on a man.
WEEK 9
Sense Organ II (Nose, Tongue& Skin)
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Exercise their nose to detect different smells around them
- Describe different tastes on their taste buds that detect items by feeling
- Discuss how to take care of our body parts.
WEEK 10
Light Energy
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Experiment to show refraction and reflection of light.
- showcase how light disperses through a prism
- Distinguish between natural sources of light and artificial sources of light.
