According to oxford dictionary Decision is a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration.

Cambridge Dictionary define Decision as a choice that you make about something after thinking about several possibilities: Decision making is the process of making choices by identifying a decision, gathering information, and assessing alternative resolutions. Every individual, team, and organization must make decisions daily. Whether it’s a student deciding on a course, a manager selecting a supplier, or a government planning policy, decision making is at the heart of all human activities. The ability to make sound decisions determines the success or failure of any endeavor.

Types of Decision Making

Tactical Decisions

These are medium-term decisions that help implement strategic plans. They are made by middle managers and often involve resource allocation.

Operational Decisions

Short-term, routine decisions made by lower-level employees, such as scheduling or inventory management.
