CONTENT:

Types and Uses of Farm Records:

  1. Farm Diary:
    • A farm diary is used to record daily activities on the farm. It includes information like farm operations carried out, weather conditions, planting dates, and farm maintenance.
    • Use: Helps to keep track of daily operations, making it easier to monitor farm activities over time.
  2. Farm Inventory:
    • A farm inventory is a record of all assets on the farm, such as equipment, livestock, tools, and crops.
    • Use: Helps farmers keep track of their assets and know when to replace or repair equipment, and monitor livestock growth.
  3. Input Record:
    • Input records document all the resources used on the farm, including seeds, fertilizers, feeds, and chemicals.
    • Use: Helps to calculate the total cost of farm inputs and plan for future farm activities efficiently.
