CASE STUDY

Jesus Encounter: Mathew 3:13-17 . This is a passage from the Christian Bible that describes the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. Here is a brief summary of the passage, Jesus came to John the Baptist to be baptized in the Jordan River. John was hesitant to baptize Jesus, recognizing him as the Son of God and feeling unworthy to baptize him. But Jesus insisted, saying that it was necessary to fulfill all righteousness. After Jesus was baptized, he came up out of the water and the heavens opened, and the Spirit of God descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” This is a great encounter for his journey.  This passage  marks the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry and his identification as the Son of God. The voice from heaven is seen as a confirmation of Jesus’ divine identity, and the descent of the Holy Spirit is seen as an empowering for his ministry Journey which is empowerment for the Journey. The baptism is also seen as an example for Christians to follow in being baptized and publicly identifying with Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The Disciples Encounter In Act 1:18, Act 4:13, Act 9:3
The passages according to the Book Of Act as stated above describe three different encounters that various disciples had with Jesus and his followers. Here is a brief summary of each:
  1. Acts 1:18 – This passage describes the tragic end of Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus’ twelve disciples who betrayed him to the authorities. After betraying Jesus, Judas became overwhelmed with guilt and remorse, and he went out and hanged himself. This passage provides a sobering reminder of the consequences of betrayal and the importance of staying true to one’s principles and values.
  2. Acts 4:13 – This passage describes an encounter between the apostles Peter and John and the religious leaders of their time. The leaders were astonished at the boldness and wisdom of Peter and John, who had just healed a man in Jesus’ name, despite the fact that they were uneducated and untrained. The leaders recognized that these men had been with Jesus and were empowered by his Spirit In order word encounter after the sudden out pouring of the spirit. This passage highlights the transformative power of encountering Jesus and being filled with his Spirit, even for those who may seem unlikely or unqualified.

Paul On His Way To Damascus In Act 9:3

Acts 9:3 – This passage describes the dramatic conversion of Saul of Tarsus, who later became known as the apostle Paul. Saul was a devout Jew who persecuted early Christians, but on his way to Damascus, he encountered a bright light and heard the voice of Jesus, who asked him why he was persecuting him. Saul was blinded by the experience and was led into Damascus, where he eventually regained his sight and was baptized. This passage highlights the radical transformation that can occur when someone encounters Jesus and is changed from a persecutor to a believer and advocate for Christ.

Based on these case study its is understood and you can now see and believed that an encounter is to be empower by God for the Journey.

Understanding encounter: An encounter is a supernatural experience that bring the reality of God to a person or people. Also an encounter is an access to the true nature of God. John 42:5

NEEDS FOR ENCOUNTER AS A BELIEVER

  1. You are born to win. Daniel 11:32. Daniel, chapter 11, verse 32. It says, “The people who know their God shall stand firm, take action And do exploit” it implies that those who have a strong relationship with God will be victorious in their endeavors. All you need as a Christian is to abide in God and serve him sincerely.
  2. Every great encounter bring true revelation and every true revelation is generational 2 king 2:9
  3. You will be tested, your fate will be tested. Jesus mother 4:2-5
  4. Your given purpose and vision by God will be review and fulfill. Jeri 1:5, Prov 29:18

DIMENSION OF ENCOUNTER

  1. An encounter with Jesus. John 3:16, 1st John 5:11
  2. Encounter with the Holy Spirit. Zechariah 4:6, Luke 4:18
  3. An encounter with the word of God. Matthew 13:11, 13, II timothy 2:15
