MAINTAINING

The word maintains means to keep something in good condition by making repairs, correcting or preventing a problems, etc.

Maintaining means keeping an existing state and preserve from failure.

Maintaining the Glow Is Recognizable

According to Ephesians 5:18–21, being filled with the Spirit or being fervent in spirit is recognizable. If it weren’t, you wouldn’t know whether you were aglow with the Holy Spirit. Certain characteristics accompany the Spirit-filled life.

Glow:

Means to shine with a steady light. Isaiah 60v1, Luke 12v49, Act: 1v8, 2v1.

Many Christians struggle, wondering what the will of God is for their lives. If God does not impact a specific direction to his people concerning his plans and purpose for them. But if God doesn’t seem to be saying anything specific to you about his plan, as a believer or Christian you can know and do the will of God in your life by simply living or doing according to his word. Reference Eph 5v17, Romans 12 v 1 said to be a glow, maintain spiritual glow by transform into a new being.

CHARACTERISTIC OF PEOPLE FILLED LIFE OR THOSE MAINTAINING THE GLOW

  1. Speaking to yourselves in psalm & hymns, spiritual song Eph 5v19-21, matt 12v33-34
  2. Heart full of thanksgiving Eph 5v20
  3. Humility Eph 5v21

Some Christians find it difficult to summiting to others. But when we glow with the Holy Spirit, it is very easier to keep the flesh under the dominion of God’s spirit. We all as Christians need to maintain a teachable attitude.

HOW TO MAINTAIN A SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE.

Maintaining a spirit-filled life will greatly affect your life in every area. You will be sharper and clearer in your thinking and healthier in your body.

WAYS TO DO THAT
  1. Be a doer of the word, God’s work is His will
  2. Be joyful in the midst of trials. Jam 1v2
  3. Stay in close fellowship with God through prayer. Act 4v13-31

Finally, without humility and a teachable spirit, we hinder ourselves spiritually from fulfilling the plan of God. God’s will is to continually glow with his spirit. God bless you all.
