GRAPHIC PACKAGES (1)

Graphic refers to drawing and designing graphical software and packages.

Computer graphic packages are part of the software application in computers. They are specifically written to solve graphic application problems such as handbills designs and posters designs just as we have word processing application packages used for word processing.

TYPES OF GRAPHIC PACKAGES

There are different types of computer graphic packages and they include –

Paint
Photoshop
CorelDraw
Instant artist
Microsoft PowerPoint

Photoshop: This is a special graphic package specifically developed to edit images/photographs shot by adobe corporation. The images can then be used along with other graphics.

CorelDraw: This is a very powerful graphic package developed by Corel Corporation in Canada. This package is used by artist and illustrators to design and illustrate objects and products likes books.it can also be used for print and web design

Paint: paint graphic is automatically installed with Microsoft Windows operating System. It allows the users to copy/simulate painting on the screen.

Instant artist: This is an easy to use graphic package developed by Autodesk incorporated. It can be used to design greeting cards, handbills and posters.

Microsoft PowerPoint: The program was developed by Microsoft Corporation. This particular graphic software is part of the Microsoft Office Suite but can be brought separately .It is used to prepare a graphic representation of notes, handouts and outlines.

STRATEGIES AND ACTIVITIES:

Activity I: Teacher revises the previous lesson with the learners..
