Divine Solution Introduction

Divine Solution” typically refers to a solution or resolution that is considered to be divinely guided or inspired. It suggests that the solution comes from almighty God

With the way Nigeria is, you will agree with me that the country needs more prayers. After the change of government, everyone was happy and there was celebration everywhere however, within a twinkling of an eye things changed suddenly due to the announcement that was made concerning one of the resources endowed to the country and mostly used by the masses. It brought shock and awe to everyone even if it has been widely deliberated over the years.

When things are not going too well around us, it is expected that we seek a solution and should not be a time to murmur, speak negatively, laying curses but a time to look for the solution.

Note that a solution will never come when you fold your arms or wander about or lay back doing nothing or backbiting or when you are supposed to be in your place of work or business but you are busy backbiting or talking about other people.

So What Is Solution:

This Is when you are expecting something when the road is shut however you are expecting or hoping for a way out. Is when the battle is too strong and you look around ( left, right, front, and back) and there is no help to the extent of you asking yourself, what is the way out?

Some people in the end will have no choice but to look up and the only person that can give us a solution is God.

1. Steps to look for a solution
2. Hindrances to the solution
3. The way out or conditions for the solution

Exposition

1. Steps to Look for a Solution

Here, Jesus came to Jericho and multitudes were following Him. During that period, a man called Batilomew was in the business of begging for a living and there were lots of multitudes who were following Jesus. They were not following Him to look for the solution to their problems or what they were passing through but just following Him for frivolities. So also many come to the church not to look for the solution to what they are passing through or their current problems. Many are fond of going out to receive phone calls whenever the service is on, many only come to mark register (attendance) in the church, they are the type that go in and out when the service is on. Ask them what they gain after the service, they have nothing to say.

This man has no eyes but his hands, ears, and legs. The moment he heard that Jesus was passing, he started shouting because he wants his situation to change. The man truly was a beggar however, he was not satisfied with it and wants to change the nature of his business hence the seek for an immediate change.
The man knows Jesus and called His name, “Jesus son of David”, immediately Jesus stopped when He heard that special name and requested the man to come to Him.

Step a. Discover the source of the Divine Solution

Whatever you are passing through, ensure you discover the source of solutions. In vs 47, the moment he heard about Jesus passing by because he was fully informed which helped him, he started shouting the name of Jesus loudly non-stop.

We all need information in whatever we are doing. You need the information to help you either in business, marriage, academics, etc

Step b. Call for solution:

Here, he called the name of Jesus the son of David for help. Whatever you are doing, either business, in your academics, home, etc you need to call out for help.

Step c. Never relent until you get a Divine Solution to what you are passing through

The multitude tried to stop him from getting help by selecting him but the man refuse to keep quiet. Every situation requires a solution, so never be quiet about your situation.

Jesus finally waited and listened to the man because he never relented.

Step d. Give it what it takes to get a solution to your situation, vs 50.

The man gave it what it takes to get his solution by removing the hindrances standing before him (his cloth). He knew it was an opportunity that must not pass him by because he might not encounter such again.

Step e. Be Specific:

Jesus knew the man was blind yet he asked the man what he wanted and the man was specific in his request that he wants his sight to return.

2. Hindrances to Divine Solution

a. Complaints: John 5:6-7

Solution (Jesus) came to this man freely, yet he asked what he wanted knowing he has been there for 38 years.

Instead of the man saying what he wants, he was busy complaining. Many are in this position, instead of talking to God, they are busy lamenting over their problems. Parent can also serve as influence to this

b. The people that surround you: If the man didn’t rescue himself from the people, he wouldn’t have achieved his goal and receive his healing. The people surrounding him were negative people who could have easily hindered him. Watch out seriously for those who you rely on or look up to and pray

c. Challenges: Paul in the bible had a challenge ie a wound. He used all manner of treatment including prayers and fasting but God told him His grace is sufficient for him (Paul).

Nothing should limit you, even if you have one hand or leg or are disabled in one way or another order because the grace of God is sufficient always for you.

d. Situations you find yourself: There is no permanent situation. You might not have enough today but is not enough that you should fold your hands and accept fate.

Your situation will always make you think deeply and look inward for a way out. Eli in the bible was in this situation.

e. Worry or anxiety:

This was what happened to Lazarus who concluded within himself to eat from the crumbs that fall down from the table of the rich man. He has relegated himself that he will never be successful or will make it in life. Worry will always hinder positive thinking and focus.
Blind Batilomew is blind but his thoughts are different

3. The way out or condition for a Divine Solution

In vs 52 of Mark Chapter 10, where the man followed Jesus immediately and received his sight.

Are you looking for a solution to your business, marriage, or career, or when things are going well or not, or what life is offering to you is not palatable enough, all you need to do is follow Jesus.

Thank you.
